BFFs Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung go topless as they let their hair down on wild birthday getaway for Nick Grimshaw

Birthday boy Nick Grimshaw is spending his 31st surrounded by a bevvy of beautiful ladies.

Though it's not hard for the new X Factor judge when his 'squad' includes superfit Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung; so comfortable in his company that they spent some of the scorching break topless.

Alexa, also 31, and 26-year-old Daisy are enjoying yet another paradise getaway, this time celebrating the Radio 1 DJ's first birthday in his thirties.

Also among the glossy posse on the sun-soaked break is Pixie Geldof, who's been putting on her own cheeky display over Instagram in her low-slung swimming bottoms.

Daisy stole the show on Friday though when Pixie posed a picture of her ready a Nick Cave book that cleverly concealed her sizeable assets as she lay out in high-waisted bikini bottoms.

Also loving life with no shirt on this Friday was the birthday boy himself, who pulled a Herculean pose for the camera on his big day.

The group - commonly dubbed the new Primose Hill set - are thought to have lunched at Mallorca's Cala Deia restaurant on Friday to ring in Grimmy's birthday.

And there seems to have been no end to the group's wild antics this week because they even marked this Thursday's meteor shower with tinfoil headpieces and rich, dark lipstick. 

For Nick, it's no doubt a little respite before his huge commitment to The X Factor as the newest panel member beside Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

It's not Nick's first idyllic break this summer nonetheless.

He's only just back from Ibiza, where he celebrated Radio 1's 20 years on The White Isle and before that he'd been partying in Istanbul in April.

He's also been to New York and the Maldives with his party-loving pals, in between covering the UK's top festivals for his Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
