Puppy love! Brooke Shields doesn't let injury get in the way of attending charity event as she cuddles up to cute dog despite getting 10 stitches in foot

She shared a photo of a gruesome looking injury just days ago.

But even a hobbled foot couldn't keep Brooke Shields away from a charity event.

The 50-year-old actress appeared with bandaged foot and all at the Bow Wow Meow Ball at Animal Rescue Fund Of The Hamptons on Saturday where she served as the emcee of the night.

Brooke seemed to be in good spirits as she was all smiles while cuddling up with an adorable pooch at the charity event in the Wainscott, East Hampton neighbourhood of New York.

The cute pup no doubt drew a little attention away from her wounded paw as it was wrapped in white gauze and secured by a navy blue brace.

Despite the wrapped up foot, she looked fabulous and fashionable for being in her fifties as she sported a chick sleeveless jumpsuit.

The one-piece outfit was patterned black and white as she completed the look with one black leather flat shoe.

Her light brown tresses were worn down in a middle-part as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face highlighted by a swipe of shiny pink lip.

No doubt the Suddenly Susan star has an affinity for four-legged animals as she cradled the cute small brown dog and even gently rubbed his cheek as she stood in front of a truck from the animal rescue organisation.
