Jordan Henderson may not be known for his playmaking skills and flair, however that could all change judging by this new video.

In the clip, released to advertise MaxiNutrition, Henderson impresses with football freestyling skills which even Ronaldinho or Neymar would be proud of.

The 25-year-old England international was put through his paces by a world class breakdancer who responded to Henderson’s ball juggling and step overs with backflips and freestyle skills of his own.

He has already shown his pace in a previous cameo advert for Nivea but this clip shows a new side to Henderson’s game which has not been an integral part of his Anfield career.

Following Steven Gerrard’s departure to LA Galaxy at the end of last season, Henderson was appointed as captain and has stepped up into the leadership and role model position with aplomb.

This may be the campaign which Henderson has been building towards throughout his career and in which he can thrust himself on to the global stage without having to play second fiddle to Gerrard.

Liverpool have also started brightly in the Premier League, winning their opening two fixtures against Stoke City and Bournemouth.

They face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night, a match which Henderson is expected to be fit for.
