Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez will be available for this weekend's game against Crystal Palace and looked relaxed as he enjoyed some downtime with his pet dog. 

The 26-year-old Chile international was not expected to be match fit so soon after playing in this summer's Copa America, but Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is satisfied that his player is ready for a full return. 

Sanchez came off the bench in Arsenal's opening day defeat by West Ham, but now Wenger has confirmed that he will be involved in the trip to Selhurst Park from the off.

'Alexis Sanchez is fit,' Wenger said at his latest press conference, 'He has been working hard and is ready for the weekend.'

Sanchez signed for Arsenal last July from Barcelona and has been a standout performer for them ever since.

He scored 25 goals in 52 matches in all competitions last season and is widely tipped to be key to the Gunners' chances again this term.
