Neighbours on the move! Ramsay Street residents trade the fictional cul-de-sac for weekend shopping centre appearances

They're usually caught up in the drama of Ramsay Street, but over the weekend, the cast of Neighbours traded the Melbourne cul-de-sac for a day of laughs in Perth. 

Four of the Channel Ten soap's visited the Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre for a meet-and-greet appearance with Western Australian fans.

Stefan Dennis, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Travis Burns and Scott McGregor took to the centre's stage to chat about the show, and greet 200 lucky admirers.

Up close and personal! Scott McGregor and Travis Burns were on hand to greet their 200 lucky admirers

Earlier in the day, the cast visited Westfield Whitford City for another appearance, before heading to Westfield Carousel to do it all over again. 

For the promotional day, the foursome chose laid-back outfits. 

Travis, who plays Tyler Brennan on the show, chose a maroon-coloured shirt and tight black black jeans. The 24-year-old tied his long hair back into a low ponytail.

Scott, who plays Tyler's older brother on the show Mark Brennan, wore an unbuttoned khaki-coloured jacket, layered over a white tee and denim shirt.   

The 34-year-old actor and AFL fan tweeted on Thursday: 'Hey @westernbulldogs! Turns out I have to be in Perth for work this weekend! How do I get a ticket to the game!? #timing'.

Also along for the Western Australia trip were Stefan, who plays womaniser Paul Robinson and Rebekah, who plays hard-working mother Terese Willis.

Stefan wore a leather jacket layered over a red jumper, and his co-star Rebekah also went casual in a loose-fitting green top.

The cast seemed in good spirits as they laughed on the stage in front of the centre crowd. 

'I almost stole a small child yesterday while meeting Neighbours fans. Lucky @mrtravisburns was holding her hand. #TooCute,' Scott captioned a photo of an adorable toddler fan sandwiched between the fictional brothers.
