Fulham have completed the signing of Tim Ream from fellow Championship side Bolton.

The 27-year-old American has signed a four-year deal after successfully obtaining a work permit.

Ream told the club's official website: 'I'm more than pleased to be here. It's been a long time coming now, over the past week and a half it's gone back and forth so I'm glad it's finally sorted.

'The biggest thing was the history, walking into the training ground and feeling the vibe around the club and the success that previous American players have had here.'

Ream joined Bolton in January 2012, replacing Gary Cahill who moved to Chelsea, and went on to feature 126 times for the club.

He was a firm fans' favourite at Bolton, having won the Player of the Season award for the last two seasons.
