Mary Berry's great escape! Paul Hollywood catches Bake Off co-star fleeing from 'brawl' on motorbike

  • The professional baker tweeted picture of Berry sitting on flash Ducati bike
  • He added: 'Mary involved in bar brawl... Last leaving scene on motorbike'
  • Last year, rebellious Berry vandalised Hollywood's car with a marker pen

She's the refined Queen of Cakes who's won the hearts of viewers with her fair and firm demeanour.

But Mary Berry appeared to indulge her more mischievous side when she fled from the Great British Bake Off on a high-speed motorbike - after being involved in an apparent 'bar brawl'.

The 80-year-old escaped from the BBC set on the flash Ducati after losing at a game of darts.

Paul Hollywood, Berry's co-host on the hit TV show, posted a photo which showed the star baker rebelliously grinning at the camera as she straddled the £14,000 getaway bike.

He wrote the caption: 'Mary involved in bar brawl, over lost darts match. She was last seen leaving the scene on a motorbike.'

It's not the first time Berry has tuned in to her wilder side behind the scenes of the programme.

The baker - who has helmed the series with Hollywood since 2010 - vandalised her co-host's car last year by writing on it with a marker pen.

Berry apparently wrote her name on Hollywood's motor but then had a change of heart and tried to frantically scrub it off several days later.

When it couldn't be removed, Hollywood joked that he wanted her arrested for criminal damage.

Last year, it also emerged that Berry enjoyed joining in with belching contests inbetween filming scenes.

Hollywood has previously spoken about his passion for bikes and cars and has posed up for pictures with the Ducati motorbike on which Berry was seen.

He said he loves nothing better on a Sunday morning than roaring to his favourite cafe on his bike for a bacon butty.
