They've been inseparable ever since they first started dating nine years ago.

And Diane Kruger and her boyfriend Joshua Jackson have spent so much time together they've even started dressing alike, donning matching fedoras as they headed out for the day in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The 39-year-old Troy actress and the 37-year-old Dawson's Creek star ensured they stayed cool in their coordinating headgear while making the most of the blazing heat on Saturday.

Diane was dressed for a hike in a black vest top and monochrome shorts that emphasised her long legs.

Joshua kept it casual in a green T-shirt and olive-coloured shorts as he accompanied his partner out and about.

The pair have been soaking up the sun during a romantic break and were seen cuddling up on a sun lounger earlier this weekend, sharing a few tender kisses.

It's plain to see how smitten the pair are, and they constantly display their affection for one another on social media.

However, the couple, who have been together since 2006, are often asked to justify why they aren't planning to marry, in spite of their obvious commitment.

Joshua recently told GLAMOUR magazine: 'I can tell you why we're not married: we're not religious. I don't feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party.

'We're both children of divorce, so it's hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you've grown up and are committed to another person.'

Tri-lingual beauty Diane - who can speak German, French and English - wed actor Guillaume Canet in 2001, before they split in 2006. He is now in a long-term relationship with Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard.

Joshua and Diane have managed to make their relationship work in the midst of their busy schedules, with the actor filming US drama The Affair, alongside Dominic West and Ruth Wilson.

Diane will next be seen on-screen in Fathers And Daughters and upcoming thriller Sky opposite Girls' Lena Dunham.
