Melanie Griffith, 58, and her 18-year-old daughter Stella dressed in similar outfits on Saturday as they spent some quality time together, going shopping and having lunch in West Hollywood.

They both looked cool and casual in their nicely co-ordinating white t-shirts and trousers, with matching over-the-shoulder handbags.

She pulled her blonde hair away from her face in a messy bun, while keeping a glamorous edge with a pair of dark sunglasses.

Melanie's youngest daughter Stella, whose father is Antonio Banderas, looked far more sporty, going for black slim fitting workout leggings and matching trainers.

The youngster, whose dark bra was clearly visible through her top, wore her long blonde locks down, around her shoulders and carried her baseball cap in hand.

Although the mother-daughter duo are very close, the Golden Globe winner is still in the process of removing her ex-husband of 18 years and father of Stella, 55-year-old Banderas, from her life.

Melanie is currently undergoing laser treatment, which she began after their split was announced in June 2014, to remove the large heart-shaped ink with his name from the top of her right arm.

She seems to be keeping the disappearing tattoo covered up more recently, wearing short-sleeved t-shirts to keep it from view.
