Despite the fact she is a famous movie star, she seems to be all about comfort during her days off.

And Elle Fanning was spotted wearing a popular Seventies fashion while out and about in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

The Maleficent actress, 17, opted for no makeup while wearing a jean halter dress paired with white canvas flats.

She toted around a small floral bag made of cloth for her outing, and accessorised her look further with a gold double strand lariat necklace.

Elle, the younger sister of War of the Worlds actress Dakota, has been quite the in-demand actress as of late with seven films in pre-production and one of which she is currently voicing titled, The Ballerina.

Even so, the star has still managed to find plenty of time for herself, even keeping up with her rigorous gym routines up while in Studio City.

The We Bought A Zoo star kept it trendy with her ombre-inspired purple and pink Nike sneakers featuring a thick sole suitable for plenty of cardio. 

She appeared to be in a great mood after getting her blood pumping, keeping hydrated with a water bottle in tow.

Elle will soon be seen in the title role of About Ray, a romantic comedy also starring Naomi Watts and Susan Sarandon.

Set for a September release, the movie stars Elle as a trans teenager making the transition of becoming a girl to a boy.

In a sneak peek of her in costume, she sports a cropped ginger cut as well as a corduroy suit and tie.

Elle's About Ray director Gaby Dellal recently explained to Refinery29 why he cast her in the movie, dishing: 'I could not have chosen a more blonde, more feminine actress who had a big a mountain to climb and that's what I'm interested in.'
