Sharing the burden: Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie team up to carry Charlie Ocean as doting mom shares baby snaps online
They may be decades apart in age, but when it comes to parenthood Jeff Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston are learning the ropes together.
The new parents showed just how well they are teaming up as they joined forces to carry son Charlie Ocean in his car seat as they went out to lunch in Los Angeles.
Jeff, 62, and former Olympian Emilie, 32, each took hold of the heavy seat as the tot slept oblivious.

Snag a pair of espadrilles like Emilie
Every girl must have a pair of black espadrilles in her closet. They're pretty much the most versatile shoe you will ever find. Take Emilie Livingston, Jeff Goldum's wife and mother to his son Charlie Ocean. She chose them to go with a pair of slim jeans with moto detail, a striped tank top and a blue-and-white tote as she headed out to lunch in Los Angeles with family in tow.
We can also see them finishing off a pair of black shorts and crisp poplin top, a floral dress or even a miniskirt.
Rather than rocking the most expensive label she could find, Emilie chose the very affordable Joy & Mario nautical canvas sporty versions, now $49.99 at Dillard's.
If you're curious, there's plenty more where that came from. See below to find black espadrilles in a wide range of prices. We're partial to the Madden Girl flatforms at Macy's which, at $30.97, are a great find.
This is the first child for both parents, with Charlie born on July 4, eight months after the two tied the knot at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
Proud mother Emilie, who was working as a contortionist when she met actor Jeff, has been busily sharing the delights of first-time motherhood on Twitter.
'He grabs me with his deep soulful gaze! It's all in his eyes!!' she wrote of her son.

Documenting her son's first trip to the beach, to the Los Angeles County Museum Of Art and meeting the couple's friends and family, it's clear she is besotted with her son.
Emily wrote of Charlie: 'He's a mini Jeff in so many ways'.
One snap simply shows the child's little feet, with the caption: 'Breastfeeding fun! Checking out your babes feet! Softest skin ever!'
Another shows Charlie with his Jurassic Park father, with Emilie writing: 'Happy one month little man! Couldn't be more proud of my boys in my life!!! Love is tenderness and transcendence!'

After Charlie's birth Goldblum took to Facebook to break the news.
'We're so excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, born on the 4th of July. Independence Day,' the movie star wrote.
Jeff is currently in production on Independence Day: Resurgence, a sequel to 1996's blockbuster Independence Day.
One on one time: She wrote of her newborn 'He grabs me with his deep soulful gaze! It's all in his eyes!!!'
Looking good: A month after giving birth, contortionist Emilie is in great shape
The acting vet will be starring alongside the stars from the original film (Bill Pullman, Sela Ward and Vivica A. Fox) as well as newcomers Liam Hemsworth and Joey King. The film is due out in June 2016.
Jeff announced they were expecting while he was on the Late Show With David Letterman earlier this year.
'She told me the day before we got married that she's pregnant,' Goldblum said.
