Making some dough! Super-slim Cheryl Fernandez-Versini teams up with high street bakery Greggs to launch a charity chocolate bar

She has been the subject of criticism over her slim frame.

But X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is putting it behind her as she teams up with high street giant Greggs to launch her own chocolate bar.

Proceeds from the sale of the limited edition treat will go to Cheryl's Trust, the charity set up by the Girls Aloud star to support young people in the North East.

Fans may be used to seeing the glam star heading to London's top restaurants for a bite to eat, but the down-to-earth singer has chosen the high street favourite for her latest team-up.

Greggs will be donating 5p from every purchase of its new limited edition Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bar to the Geordie singer's charity, with the sweet treat going on sale nationwide on September 8th for a limited eight week period.

Cheryl has said of the dough-making partnership: It's great to have Greggs on board supporting The Trust and helping to give back to the North East, it really is a project that is close to my heart.

'It was lots of fun developing a special treat with Greggs, it was important for me to have something that I enjoy and I'm sure everyone else will love the Greggs Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bar too!'

Malcolm Copland, Commercial Director for Greggs added: 'We're delighted to be involved with Cheryl's Trust and helping to support young people - it's a great cause to be part of.

Jump into fashion in an all-in-one like Cheryl

Cheryl has been absolutely owning it in the style stakes for the X-Factor auditions in the last few months and here she is again totally nailing it for her fragrance launch. The evening was all about her so it was only right her style was on point for the big perfume reveal.

It certainly was hard to keep our eyes off the singer with that seriously statement collar. While the jumpsuit by Narciso Rodriguez was demure in black, with cute back cut-outs, the separate collar certainly gave it some edge. The gold neckline made sure Cheryl sparkled at the event and although we can't buy the collar, we can snap up the exact jumpsuit now at Farfetch. Hoorah! Click right to buy.

However, the designer number is rather expensive at over $2k, so we scoured the high street for some all-in-ones that give you a 2-4-1 deal with their already embellished designs and for a whole lot less. You won't even need to worry about jewelry!

'We know our customers often enjoy a coffee and a treat, so we're hoping the Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bar is the perfect treat to satisfy taste buds, whilst also giving something back.'

In January Cheryl's Trust announced its partnership with The Prince's Trust, to help fund a new state-of-the-art centre in the heart of Newcastle, which aims to help young people realise their potential and get their lives back on track.

The Centre will allow the youth charity to support almost 4,000 vulnerable young people in the North East each year to turn their lives around. The centre will help the region's most at-risk young people, including those facing drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, mental health problems and those leaving care.

Cheryl's Trust was set up by Cheryl in January to help totally transform the lives of thousands of young people across the North East every year, giving them the confidence, skills and support they need to build successful, happy lives.

The star has revealed that she's focusing all her energy on the trust, with her music taking a back seat this year.

It's back! Cheryl is also being kept busy with the return of the X Factor which hits ITV next week with a whole new lineup (L-R) judges Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw, Cheryl and Simon Cowell alongside new hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs

Cheryl, who released her fourth studio album Only Human last November, has revealed she'll be letting co-judge Rita Ora take centre stage when it comes to performing on the 2015 series of the X Factor.

'You won't be seeing me perform this year. I'm focussed on my charity, I have got a trust at the moment that's taking a lot of work and obviously this show is a massive job in itself,' the singer has explained of her priorities ahead of the start of the new series of the X Factor next week.

'I'm just having fun in the studio doing bits and pieces for maybe next year, but not this year, I'm totally focused on the show and on the charity.'
