They ended their their three-year romance in June, just six months after getting engaged.

But on Sunday, exes Emma Roberts and Evan Peters were spotted with smiles on their faces while leaving Izakaya restaurant in West Hollywood, California together.

The 24-year-old actress and 28-year-old actor - who co-star in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story anthology - kept close to one another as they walked past photographers.

There's nothing that says youth quite like a fit & flare (also sometimes called a skater) dress. For their dinner date, Emma dressed in a plaid print mini dress, which showed off her toned arms and long legs.

The niece of famed actress Julia Roberts opted for a pair of comfortable black sneakers and completed her look with a red leather handbag.

Meanwhile, Evan wore a patterned dress shirt, blue shorts and grey shoes for the outing.

Evan and Emma's longtime boss Ryan Murphy confirmed to Us Weekly in June that the former couple will reunite on-screen for the upcoming series American Horror Story: Hotel.

'They will both appear in the later episodes of Season 5,' the Glee co-creator told the publication.

'She comes at the end, and she has a great thing with Evan Peters at the end,' Murphy dished to Us. 'Emma's going to do a fun thing at the end with Evan. That's all I can say.'

After Emma wraps production on Fox's Scream Queens, she will begin filming several episodes of AHS: Hotel with her ex-fiance.

In June, they called off their engagement after he asked for her hand in marriage over the holidays.

'Their three years together just ran its course,' a source explained. 'They have so many great memories together but couldn't make it work in the end. There was no drama whatsoever.'

Emma and Evan first met while filming 2013's Adult World, though to the former's admission, they didn't begin dating until long after.

The duo became engaged over the Christmas holiday in 2014, with the news breaking that January, and Emma debuting a pink and gold diamond ring.
