Supervillains meet superhero! Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney visit lemonade stand of Na'ama Uzan, five, which has raised over $64,000 for her sick brother

They have just played supervillains for up coming film Suicide Squad.

But Australian actors Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney met a real life superhero just before they left the city of Toronto, in Canada, where they have been making the film.

The pair paid a visit to the lemonade stand run by five-year-old Na'ama Uzan, who has so far raised $64,000 and counting to help find a cure for Angelman's Syndrome.

Her six-year-old brother Nadav suffers from the disease - which can affect mobility, speech and cause seizures.

Na'ama dressed in a superhero outfit of her own for the visit, wearing yellow face paint and a cape for her two special guests.

Thankfully the two actors weren't in their costumes from Suicide Squad, in which they play a pair of super villains who are enlisted to help use their talents for good.

Jai, 29, who plays Digger Harkness, aka Boomerang, in the movie, told CTV News: I heard about Na'ama's story and what she was doing for her brother Nadav, and I think it is so inspiring, and just shows that there is no act too small when you are talking about making a difference.'

Margot, 25, who stars as Harley Quinn, the Joker's girlfriend in the movie, added she used to have a lemonade stand of her own when she was a child growing up on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

She said: 'I used to do old kind of stands like this when I was little and I would just spend the profits on lollies at the corner store.

'I am glad she is doing something far more noble for a cause.'

Na'ama was delighted by her special guests - who both bought a glass of her freshly squeezed lemonade.

She said she started her stall a year and a half ago because she wants to help all the children who suffer from Angelman Syndrome to get better, and help her brother get well: 'Because then all the Angelman kids will be able to talk and not have seizures and epilepsy any more.'

So far Na'ma's efforts have helped create a research chair in her name with someone dedicated to finding a cure at Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics.

The illness affects about one in 15,000 people. It is a genetic disability that impedes mobility, speech and can cause frequent seizures.

Her brother Nadav was diagnosed when he was two.

Margot and Jai made their stop off on the way to the wrap party for Suicide Squad, which also stars Will Smith and Jared Leto as The Joker.

The Australian actress got a chance to flex her tattooing skills on set, leaving some of the cast and crew with a permanent reminder of their time on set - a tattoo saying 'Skwad.'

Margot also got to celebrate her birthday with the team, who had clearly become a tight knit bunch - she was given a Harley Quinn themed birthday cake which she proudly posted on Instagram.
