Cool rider Keanu Reeves leathers up as he goes for a spin on his impressive custom-made motorbike

He's seriously passionate about motorbikes and is devoted to his motorbike business.

And Keanu Reeves was clearly in his element as he headed out with his like-minded biker friends for lunch at Nobu Malibu on Sunday.

The 50-year-old star seemed to be in great spirits as he leaned against his custom-made $78,000 bike laughing and joking with his pals following their fancy meal out.

Keanu dressed down for lunch at the exclusive restaurant, choosing practicality over style in a pair of loose-fitting denim jeans, camel-coloured boat shoes and a sweltering hot black leather jacket.

The bearded star, stood with his crash hat in his hands, rounded off his authentic biker look with aviator sunglasses to protect his eyes from the Californian sun.

The actor is obsess with his custom-made bike and loves to hit the open road whenever he can.

Speaking about his love of motorcycling to Vanity Fair recently, he said he used his time on the bike to think and contemplate.

'There's a physical pleasure, there's an emotional pleasure, there's sensorial experience,' he added.

When he's not wrapped up in Hollywood the movie star produces custom KRGT-1s with his business partner Gard Hollinger. The pair co-founded Arch Motorcycles in Los Angeles.

However, Keanu says his passion for bikes only came about aged 22 when he was taught by a young lady how to ride while filming in Munich.

'When I got back to LA I got a similar bike and then I went and got a Norton Commando,' he told the publication. 'Those were the early days. As I was working, if I was filming, I would go to a used bike shop, buy a bike, work, and then sell it back. I had a chance to ride a lot of different kinds of bikes.'

Last month Keanu flew to Japan where he headed to the Suzuka race circuit for the 8 Hour FIM Endurance world championship in his personalised leathers.

However with a busy filming schedule ahead it's unlikely he's going to be able to spent as much time on the open road.

He has recently thrown himself into work with a plethora of projects on the horizon, including the 2016 horror film The Neon Demon.

He's also got the John Wick sequel coming up and The Whole Truth, Daughter Of God, The Bad Batch and Replicas are all being filmed and released in the coming months.
