Yolanda Foster proved her daughter Gigi Hadid had modelling in mind even as a baby with a throwback snap posted to Instagram on Monday.

The adorable pic shows a young Gigi, no more than four years old, modelling a shimmering pick swimsuit during a day out at the beach.

Her then-dirty blonde hair is tied into a pair of tight braids, while her trademark piercing blue eyes were clearly just as striking when she was half her current size.

'Baby si model in the making......... @gigihadid @si_swimsuit #BornWithIt #BabyLove,' her mother captioned the pic.

The 51-year-old's Instagram account is one uplifting picture after another, despite her continuing battle with Lyme disease, as well as recently having surgery to remove a leaking breast implant.

Her 20-year-old daughter meanwhile is also very much enjoying life at the moment, having spent the summer enjoying the Californian sunshine with boyfriend Joe Jonas.

But it was back to business for her as she jetted off from Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday.

The model took a little piece of her home state with her - by way of a T-shirt emblazoned with the word Malibu.
