Cameron Diaz puts on an affectionate display as she walks hand-in-hand with husband Benji Madden during visit to Australia

She's flown half way across the world to cheer on her new husband ahead of The Voice Australia grand finale on Sunday.

And Cameron Diaz couldn't have looked more supportive as she stuck by Benji Madden's side after finishing an intimate meal at Sydney restaurant Sake on Thursday.

The always glamorous Bad Teacher actress was seen putting on an affectionate display as she strolled hand in hand with her rocker beau.

Cosy up in Cameron's chic coat by Stella McCartney

Whether she's just dressing down in jeans or glamming up in a gown there's just something about Cameron.

The actress has mastered the whole insouciant just-threw-it-on vibe and showed it off with class in this chic, monochrome ensemble. Skinny jeans, patent ankle boots and a poloneck create the perfect backdrop to let this statement coat shine.

It's the 'Bryce' offering by Stella McCartney and we love the androgynous details like the boxy fit and notched collar design. Add into the mix those lightly structured shoulders and cosy wool feel and you've got an investment to last you for many seasons to come.

Sadly it's now sold out in white (boo!) but you can still snap it up in a chic camel hue at Net-a-Porter (click right). Otherwise, check out our edit below.

Rugging up for the Australian winter, Cameron, 42, slipped into a fitted pair of jeans which she teamed with a black top with a conservative neckline for the occasion.

She wrapped a chic white coat around her shoulders for extra warmth and had her blonde locks swept up into a hassle free pony tail.

A fervent supporter of ageing gracefully, the star let her natural beauty speak for itself with a minimal application of makeup.

Meanwhile a pair of ankle boots with a modest heel and a small purse slung across her body completed her dressed down look.

Not straying far from her side, her husband of eight months Benji was characteristically dressed in dark denim jeans and a leather jacket and was seen speaking to a male friend as they headed out onto the street.

The newlywed couple enjoyed a quite dinner at the Japanese restaurant, located in the city's affluent eastern suburbs.

Along with the friend, Benji's twin brother and fellow The Voice Coach Joel, also appeared to be with them on the occasion.

Like his brother, Joel was dressed largely in black, teaming a pair of skinny leg jeans with a printed T-shirt and snap back cap, adding only a vest for warmth.

He exited the restaurant holding what appeared to be a bottle of wine.
