It's only a game! Grinning Hugh Jackman is in high spirits as he cheers on Sea Eagles... while they take a hammering from Sydney Roosters
Hugh Jackman certainly got into the spirit of the game on Friday evening when he attended an NRL match in Sydney.
Proving to be quite the passionate spectator, the 46-year-old actor was seen enthusiastically cheering and clapping as the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles versed the Sydney Roosters at Brookvale Oval.
Clearly a support of the Eagles, the Australian star sported the team's maroon and white jersey, while also waving its official flag from the grand stands.

Cheering away: Hugh Jackman certainly got into the spirit of the game on Friday evening when he attended an NRL match in Sydney
Unfortunately, Hugh's star power wasn't enough to bring his team to victory on the night, with the Sydney Roosters romping to victory, winning the match 46-10.
Enjoying time back in his home country, Hugh made a big announcement earlier this week.
Appearing at The Four Seasons Hotel in on Monday, the movie star expressed his excitement about bringing his show Broadway To Oz to arenas in November and December.

He kicked off the conference by walking into the room belting out I Still Call Australia Home, with the help of a backup choir.
'In November and December this year, 2015, myself and 150 musicians, singers, dancers choir, are going to be touring the major cities of Australia in an arena spectacular and I am beyond excited about it,' Hugh told reporters.
'I'm super, super excited to take it around,' he added. 'It's pretty much all about me, everything I love.'
Proud: The movie star was also seen waving the team's official flag from the grand stands
The Tony Award-winner's show, he says, aims to entertain kids and adults alike.
'it's a family show,' he said. 'I want everyone to come, to have fun to feel relaxed. I want everyone to have a blast.
'I'm sure there will be a few husbands dragged along. And I'll buy them all a beer after the show.'
Hugh, who has appeared in stage shows including The Boy From Oz and Les Miserables, said his show includes his all-time favourite tunes.
'It's every song that I love from every show,' he said, adding that he'll also belt out tunes from musicals he 'wanted to be in' or will be in one day, showing his passion for the art form.
Getting into it: Hugh was joined by Triple M presenter and good friend Gus Worland at the game

'Some guys sort of say to their wives, "You know, I want to go golfing with my buddies"', he joked.
'I say to Deb, "Can I go and do my show, is that OK?"
The actor also revealed that his family -including wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 59, who attended the conference, and children Oscar and Ava - will be joining him in Australia.
'We're thrilled to always find any excuse to come here, and be with our extended family down here too,' Deborra-Lee said.
The tour begins in Melbourne on November 24, at Rod Laver Arena before heading to Sydney's Qantas Credit Union Arena on November 30, with other dates planned.
Shows will also continue in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
