Kylie Jenner has made it clear over the past year that she loves to change her look from time-to-time.

On Friday, the 18-year-old reality star showed off an extreme example of that tendency with a black-and-white photo posted to Instagram.

The image - taken by photographer Sasha Samsonova - hid part of Kylie's face under a blonde wig while showing off plenty of skin.

In the photo, Kylie lounged on a terrace while holding a glass of water in one hand.

The supposed hairpiece - which gave Kylie a look somewhat like the singer Sia - fell over the bridge of her nose in the front and just past her shoulders in the back.

For clothing, Kylie opted for a white corset that left shoulders, upper chest, and thighs bare - a loose white jacket hung off the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's elbows.

Bracelets and thigh-high black stockings finished up the look, while pale-coloured and long nails were visible around the glass.

The black-and-white image was at least two weeks old - photographer Sasha shared several other images from a photo-shoot early in August on her own Instagram page.

One of those pictures showed a surprise hidden by the lack of colour in the new image - Kylie's wig was actually a bright shade of yellow and not a standard blonde.

Photographer and subject clearly had fun with that particular look, creating multiple images, including one in which bright red lipstick seemed to drip off Kylie's mouth like a horror-movie vampire.

Other photos from the shoot found Kylie in a slitted jumpsuit in red and black, showing off blue-painted lips.

A blue wig made the cut for another photo, while Kylie jumped to her natural black - albeit with straight bangs - for a few other pictures.
