Amid the sea of identikit tanned blondes, Christina Hendricks sure stands out. 

The Mad Men star highlighted her alabaster skin and vibrant red hair in a black dress on Saturday night.

With her perfect complexion untouched by the sun's rays, the 40-year-old has obviously spent the summer covered in lashings of factor 50.

Christina's barely there make-up highlighted her natural radiance and clear skin as she left Queen Of The Night in Midtown Manhattan.

Known for her curves, the actress wore a figure-hugging over-the-knee dress.

She added a saucy edge with black tie-up heels, keeping her accessories to a minimum in a black leather wrist cuff and a red-ribbon necklace with an antique pendant.

Christina carried a sleek boxed clutch which added a tiny flash of white to her classic little black dress.

She had spent her evening dining with friends at the raunchy dinner show - an interactive theatrical experience that features some adult content.

Christina played Joan Holloway opposite Jon Hamm and January Jones in Mad Men for seven series from its launch in 2007, earning her six Emmy nominations, as well as four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations of which she won two prizes.

The hit series, set in a 1960s advertising agency, finally wrapped up in May this year with an explosive ending.

Since Mad Men ended, Christina - who has been married to husband Geoffrey Arend for six years, has been focusing on building her movie career.

She starred with Charlize Theron in Dark Places, the big screen adaptation of the novel by Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn released this summer.

And she recently wrapped filming on The Neon Demon with Keanu Reeves, Jena Malone and Elle Fanning that's scheduled for a March 2016 release.

The horror thriller centers around a young model who moves to LA and has her youth and vitality devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women.
