Plait's a good look! Bindi Irwin wears her hair in a side braid and beams with joy as she arrives for Dancing With The Stars rehearsal
Bindi Irwin may be used to wearing khakis and wrangling with crocodiles but the Australian star is out to prove herself in the dance studio.
The 17-year-old daughter of the late TV personality Steve Irwin announced she was joining the cast of America's 21st season of Dancing With The Stars earlier this week.
And as rehearsals got underway, the bubbly animal activist was spotted looked cheery and excited, sporting a sleek side braid as the arrived for a dance session in Hollywood on Saturday.

Her dance-ready outfit comprised of a relaxed T-shirt and a pair of leggings by Australian sportswear designer, Lorna Jane.
Proving she was still a trainers' girl at heart, the wildlife-loving teen finished her casual outfit with canary yellow Converse lace-ups.
Despite the understated nature of her attire, Bindi let a glimmer of Dancing With The Stars glamour shine through in her eye make-up, which featured a sparkly pink eye shadow and winged eyeliner.

Despite the fact that as a child she worked with her own dance troupe on a kid's fitness video, the Queensland-born blonde is the first to admit that the idea of competitive dancing scared her.
'This is going to be more terrifying than jumping on top of a crocodile,' said Bindi in a recent magazine with People magazine.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Bindi gushed about how happy she was to be joining the cast, saying she felt 'so honoured to be a part of this new journey and chapter in my life.'

Bindi is used to life in front of the camera, having grown up performing next to her father on his hit TV show, The Crocodile Hunter.
She took centre stage in her own TV show, Bindi In The Jungle from 2007-2008 and then later in Bindi's Bootcamp which aired in 2012.
The chirpy performer is also also heavily involved in conservation work at Australia Zoo in Queensland.
