Date morning! Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez share a loved-up breakfast after marital-trouble rumours

Halle Berry and husband Olivier Martinez looked very much in love as they shared a kids-free breakfast.

The 49-year-old Oscar winner and her French-actor husband, also 49, were spotted enjoying the morning meal at an outdoor table in West Hollywood, California on Saturday.

They seemed close and happy, despite rumours in recent weeks that their marriage could be on the rocks.

In addition to sitting close together at a small table during their meal, Halle and Olivier shared a hug as they walked away, their arms wrapped affectionately around each other.

It may have been something of a date for the pair, who did not bring with them either their 22-month-old son, Maceo, or Halle's seven-year-old daughter, Nahla.

Despite the romance that came along with their coffee, neither Halle nor Olivier bothered to dress up for their meal together.

Halle wore her ombre hair loose and falling in messy curls to her shoulders, while the X-Men actress did not appear to be wearing makeup on her flawless face.

For a top, Halle had a loose-fitting white blouse, which she wore with distressed blue jeans and flat sandals.

Olivier was even more casual in his dress, sporting a dark blue T-shirt that read 'Funky Junk Farms' across the front.

Belted blue jeans and black shoes finished off the actor's outfit for the day.

Halle did seem to be wearing a wedding ring, something she has not done much recently - the actress reportedly lost her engagement ring at Mexico's Acapulco International Film Festival.

She did not immediately replace it because, according to TMZ, the ring has 'not been a priority' for the busy celebrity couple.

The site's sources added that there has been no discussion about a divorce with an attorney.

Halle is also currently embroiled in an ongoing custody battle with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry, 39, over their daughter Nahla.

The American beauty, who split from Gabriel in 2010, is said to want his monthly child support payments cut from about $16,000 (£10,398) to $3,800 (£2,470).

Currently starring on the TV show, Extant, Halle will next appear on the big screen in Kidnap, an action thriller set for release in February 2016.
