See, we are friends! Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne perform duet on 1989 Tour after fans sparked online 'feud'
Days after rumors spread through social media that Avril Lavigne had thrown some 'shade' on Taylor Swift, the Canadian singer joined the Shake It Off star on stage in San Diego Saturday night.
Lavigne, 30, was invited by Swift, 25, to perform her 2002 hit Complicated - much to the raucous delight of fans at the sold out 1989 Tour concert at Petco Park.
As the petite blonde belted out her signature song, Swift danced enthusiastically alongside her before chiming in and singing with her.

What feud? Avril Lavigne joined Taylor Swift on stage at her 1989 Tour concert in San Diego on Saturday night
'So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne!' Swift tweeted afterwards.
''Complicated' is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her.'
Lavigne gave some love back, posting a photo of the pair performing together on her Instagram account with the caption: 'Such a Pleasure to perform "Complicated" tonight with @taylorswift on her #1989 world tour! She ROCKS' followed by three heart-shaped emojis.
Gushing: Swift, 25, tweeted that performing Complicated with Lavigne was an 'incredible' experience
Lavigne wore a shiny midnight blue mini dress and thigh-high black leather boots for her appearance.
Her waist-length blonde hair was left loose cascading down around her as she sang,
Swift wore a figure-hugging jumpsuit with a cut out pattern on her chest and around her neck that accentuated her cleavage and like Lavigne, rocked some stylish over the knee leather boots.
The pair were also touchy-feely with Swift several times giving the Canadian star a hug or draping an arm across her shoulders.

Be stage ready in a sequin mini dress like Avril's
Well that happened fast, one minute they're twitter feuding and before you know it Avril's in a sequined mini dress with thigh high boots singing alongside Taylor.
No more Bad Blood here right girls?
Regardless, we're glad to see these two stage divas make amends because without this friendship, we might never have been inspired to get a glittery blue sequined dress like Avril's.
Is it too early to plan our New Years Eve outfit? Possibly, but whatever excuse it takes for us to feel right with buying this shimmery moonlit number, we'll take!
Unfortunately, Avril's dress which came from Blaque Label is now sold out. But that dosn't mean we can't score a similar version for ourselves.
Browse our blinding edit of sequined dresses below. All items perfect for us to Shake It Off on the dance floor.

No bad blood: The famous pair clearly wanted to put to rest rumors of a feud sparked earlier this week by a Tumblr post that suggested Lavigne doesn't treat her fans as well as Swift treats hers
It's a far cry from a few days ago when there appeared to be a social media spat between the two singers sparked by a fan post on Tumblr that praised the way Swift treats her fans.
The post suggested Lavigne may be a little less engaged with the selfie sessions than the Bad Blood star and sparks flew when Swift 'liked' the Tumblr post.
Lavigne, 30, reacted by posting an enormous montage of herself smiling with dozens of different fans and wrote alongside it: 'Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans.'
'So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive,' she added.
The singer's appearance in San Diego is another indication that she is finally regaining her health after a two-year battle with Lyme disease.
After being bed-ridden in her Ontario, Canada, home for months, she took the stage in July for her first performance in a year to sing her inspirational single Fly at the opening of the Special Olympics in Los Angeles.
Sisterhood: Swift gave Lavigne a huge hug at the end of their duet
Also Saturday night, Swift brought out on stage Jamaican hitmaker OMI.
The singer dressed all in white with red-laced sneakers and a green baseball cap performed his hit Cheerleader.
Swift joined in wearing white hot pants and a cropped strapless top with thigh-high boots and suspenders.
Guest: Swift also invited up on stage the Jamaican singer OMI to perform his hit Cheerleader
Excited: Swift seemed ecstatic to have OMI there as she bopped along to the music
