Earlier in the day, Uma's co-star Sofia Vergara was seen shooting scenes for the heist comedy at West Hollywood's iconic Chateau Marmont hotel.

Her long, brunette hair was worn loose and fell in smooth waves past Sofia's shoulders, framing a face made up with bright-red lips and black-lined eyes.

For a dress, Sofia opted for an old-fashioned style with a tight, sleeveless bodice and a flared skirt that fell to her knees.

Black, Christian Louboutin pumps with impressively high heels finished off Sofia's look for her scenes.

Also spotted on the set was one of the actress' co-stars, 51-year-old Crispin Glover, who wore all-black for his costume.

Whatever he had been filming, it may have been warm as the Back To The Future actor was visibly sweating.

Sofia seemed to enjoy her time working on the movie and posted two Instagram shots to mark the first day of filming in Los Angeles.

In one picture, Sofia caught a group of young people - including her 22-year-old son, Manolo Gonzales - sitting together.

The other Instagram shot found Sofia hugging 54-year-old Tim Roth, one of her co-stars in the upcoming movie.

Although not seen on-set that day, The Brits Are Coming also stars Maggie Q, Parker Posey, and Stephen Fry.

Sofia is likely squeezing in these final scenes of shooting between days spent playing Gloria Pritchett on the Emmy-winning Modern Family.

She also has a wedding coming up soon - she and fiance Joe Manganiello, 38, are tying the knot in Florida on November 22, according to Us Magazine.
