Michelle Heaton treats her daughter Faith, three, and son AJ, 18 months, to a fun-packed day out at Legoland

Her first born is set to start school in early September.

So it was only right Michelle Heaton treated her daughter Faith, three, and son AJ, 18 months, to one last summer-holiday outing.

The mother-of-two and her husband - personal trainer Hugh Hanley - headed out to the ever popular Legoland in Windsor with their young children on Sunday.

Michelle, 36, soon got into the spirit of the kids' theme park and was pictured screaming on a mini dragon rollercoaster while holding her girl close.

The former Liberty X star was suitably dressed for the casual outing in an outfit which comprised grey jeans, white striped top which was emblazoned with shiny red hearts and comfortable Converse trainers.

Her hairstyle gave an affirmative nod to the Nineties as she wore her long brunette tresses in a super-high ponytail.

They were joined by other family members who willingly minded AJ while they enjoyed the delights of the park's rides.

Faith's enjoyment was a little questionable as she was seen grimacing in the front carriages.

However, she soon got into the spirit of things and happily posed alongside her health and fitness blogger in a silly character cut-out.

Michelle's - whose health concerns have been well-documented - recently admitted she's finally back to her old self after suffering multiple cancer scares and a heart problem.

'I can’t really believe all of it has happened to me. It seems like such a miracle now that I feel in control, content and finally able to happily look forward to the future. It’s like getting my life back,' she said in a recent interview.

'It’s been such a rough time, with what seemed like a never-ending cycle of crises, and although I don’t think I’ve ever uttered the words, ‘Why me?’ – I’ve never been one to feel sorry for myself or wallow in self-pity – I must admit I’ve often thought, ‘What else can possibly be around the corner?'
