On Friday Karrueche Tran spoke with TMZ to hit back at ex Chris Brown after threats were made against her friend Marques Houston following a comment he left on her Instagram account.

And on Sunday the 27-year-old tried to put her ex's drama behind her, as she attended an after party in West Hollywood for the MTV Video Music Awards.

She showed off her toned pins in a fitted mini dress, and seemed to be in good spirits as she sported a wide grin, despite the recent death threats made on Instagram surrounding a revealing bikini photo the model had shared.

Putting her best foot forward: Karrueche Tran showed off her trim figure - and a wide grin - as she attended an MTV VMAs after party on Sunday, following death threats on Instagram over ex Chris Brown

Karrueche wore a long-sleeved, form-fitting white sweater mini dress, which hit at the star's mid-thigh.

She showed off her toned legs in the figure-hugging dress, which she coupled with a pair of strappy tan heels.

She wore her long, raven tresses styled in loose curls, and sported natural make-up for the occasion.

In good spirits: The model showed off a big smile as she hit the carpet, despite dealing with drama recently over comments made on her Instagram account

Karrueche showed off a white pedicure in her peep toe heels, which coordinated with the star's white manicure.

She accessorized with a colorful, small green clutch, and seemed to be in good spirits on the outing, as she showed off a wide grin despite recent drama relating to her ex, Chris.

The 26-year-old rapper had left a derogatory comment on one of her Instagram photos, mocking Marques, after the latter had praised a shot of her derriere.

After Karrueche had shared a snap of her lounging in a revealing black bikini, Marques - with whom the model stars in upcoming comedy Dinner With The Stankershets - commented: 'dizayum look at all that booty, can't even see your face cuz that booty in the way.'

Chris mocked the R&B star (before deleting his comment), by writing: 'Go home Rodger!' a reference to a line famously directed at the star on 1990s sitcom Sister Sister, according to Urban Islandz.

One of Chris' friends, who TMZ claim is a known gangmember, took to Instagram following the comment, writing alongside a snap of two firearms: 'N***'s show no how to disrespect, I don't care if they not still together #MH (sic).'

'I'm bored and tried of this situation. I don't get it because I'm single,' she said, adding: 'I thought we have all matured and moved on.'

The model continued: 'Especially since Chris has been seen with multiple women since the breakup. I don't want anything to do with any type of violence or negativity.'
