Kylie Jenner hires teenage make-up artist after spotting his work on Instagram... but refuses to let him near her famous pout

Kylie Jenner is famous for the constant stream of pouty selfies she posts on Instagram and now, she has revealed that the site has come in handy in another way - sourcing a new make-up artist.

Ariel Tejada, 19, was sent a message by the 18-year-old via the social media site in which she asked him to work with her.

But while the New Yorker is responsible for most of her make-up, he used an interview with Buzzfeed to reveal that Miss Jenner's famous pout is all her own work.

'Kylie direct messaged me herself on Instagram and told me, !Next time you’re in town [Los Angeles], let’s work together",' he said. 'I told her, I’ll be there in a week, let’s do it.'

Despite his assurances, Mr Tejada had no plans to make the five-hour flight from New York but, scenting an opportunity, he booked one immediately.

Their meeting the following week proved a success and Mr Tejada is responsible for Miss Jenner's trademark sultry look, complete with dramatic eyelashes and a plump pout.

'Kylie has beautiful eyes,' added an ecstatic Mr Tejada. 'They’re very mesmerising.'

However, although responsible for her eye make-up, the make-up artist admits that he is yet to be allowed near her famous lips.

Miss Jenner's pout was, until recently, the source of much speculation - cleared up in May after she admitted to having temporary fillers to enhance it.

In April, the Kylie Jenner lip challenge, which involved sucking on a shot glass to increase blood flow, went viral with teens across the world emulating the young star.

Despite the controversy, Mr Tejada's work has proved a hit and he has gone on to amass a respectably large roster of A-list clients, among them actress Naya Riviera.

He also works on Miss Jenner's sister Kendall, who has also borrowed Mr Tejada several times to create a glamorous bronzed look.
