That "be the change" quote always bugged me. It's often (mis)attributed to Ghandi who actually said this (the closest attributable quote),

“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. ... We need not wait to see what others do.”

My goal in posting this is not to urge JWI to more expediently publish their secret stash of documents, but rather to point out that there is a double standard here. Some are relentlessly attacked for supposedly withholding documents, others are lauded for their incredible contributions. I ask this.. who has provided the majority of the documents we have to understand this case? Who has bore the brunt of the criticism for "hiding" information. Think it through.

I think you've missed the point on two levels.

This thread has a 59% upvote... not exactly popular.
I'm personally upset about the hypocrisy, not the fact that transcripts are being released. I applaud the efforts to bring more information into the light. Let's do it faster! and hold an equal standard for all who are releasing info.

Do you know why JWI removed her post with the Feb 4 2000 transcripts three times in the last two days? It's a mystery to me and I'm trying to figure it out in order to assess her transparency, integrity, and possibly organization. I will join you in applauding their efforts.

AFAIK the unwatermarked document was just hosted on Susan's blog and not included in any actual blog post. My guess is that would be for convenience's sake.

It's funny when people refuse to listen to Undisclosed (I'm certain this is another strategy hammered out in the secret clubhouse along with calling Adnan "Syed" and calling anyone who questions Jay racist) and then come here asking those of us who do listen to it to summarize what happened.
