On the market: Ali Larter has listed her Hollywood Hills home for $4.85million
Time for a change: The actress, pictured on Tuesday, recently dyed her blonde hair a fiery red
Ali purchased the house for $2.925million in October 2009, two months after marrying Hayes MacArthur.
Perhaps the happy couple are looking to expand after welcoming their second child into the world.
The actress and her comedian husband of six years are now parents to son Theodore, four, and seven-month-old daughter Vivienne.
Plenty of space: The house, which was built in 2007, is very spacious at 5,500 square feet on a half-acre of land
Modern: The loft-style three-storey home has an open plan design and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout
Perfect for entertaining: The dining room area has an informal feel to it, and sits right beside the kitchen
Fit for a Hero: It's not hard to see why Ali and husband Hayes MacArthur were fans of the master bedroom
Bright and airy: The suite has lots of light streaming through the huge windows and hardwood floors
Ali’s home has four bedrooms and six bathrooms, and beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows throughout.
The impressive master bedroom even has a fireplace, a huge walk-in wardrobe and an en suite bathroom with a steam shower and spa bathtub.
French windows lead onto a private sundeck, and below it is a picturesque spot for dining al fresco in the garden.
Secluded spot: The master bedroom opens onto a private sundeck, with stunning views
Every girl's dream: Ali kept her countless clothes and accessories in this huge walk-in wardrobe
A nice place for a soak: The en-suite bathroom is huge, and has a steam shower and spa bathtub
Surely they weren't shy of visitors: The home has four bedrooms in total, and the couple used this one as the guest bedroom
Future sailor?: Little Theodore's bedroom includes a boat-shaped bed and anchors printed on the walls
A smaller bedroom which clearly belongs to little Theodore has a bed shaped like a boat and anchors printed on the walls, while another has been turned into a girly nursery for Vivienne.
The open plan living room and casual dining room – which sits next to the modern kitchen – are separated by the open staircases that run throughout the three-storey home.
The luxurious property also features a gym and a swimming pool, while the flat lawn provides ample place to lie in the sun, and even room for a jungle gym.
Hey baby: The couple converted the fourth bedroom into a nursery for daughter Vivienne, now seven months
So that's how she stays in shape: Ali spent many a day working out in her home gym
Put your feet up: The comfortable lounge part of the living room has leather sofas and a large television
Immaculate: The kitchen, again open plan, is pristine and white (aside from the stylish bar stools by the island)
Set to make quite a profit: Ali purchased the house for $2.925million in October 2009, two months after marrying Hayes
Ali, who recently dyed her blonde hair a fiery red, can next be seen in October horror film The Diabolical.
She is also gearing up to reprise her role as Claire Redfield once again for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which is due out next year.
Ali is best known for playing the dual roles of Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss in Heroes, and more recently starred in Legends.
Where to beat the Los Angeles heat: The home's swimming pool can be found on the large flat lawn
Playtime: With plenty of room in the garden, Ali and Hayes installed a jungle gym for their son
What a view: No doubt the pair often watched the sunset from one of the many outdoor seating areas
Contemporary: The three floors of the house are separated by open staircases
