After marrying James Rothschild in a lavish London ceremony in July, Nicky Hilton is still in the blissful honeymoon period.

And the hotel heiress showed off her newlywed glow as she attended the Southampton Arts Center's Annual Summerfest in New York with her mum Kathy on Thursday night.

The 31-year-old socialite flaunted her sunkissed skin, a result of her luxury multiple-centre honeymoon, in a nautical-inspired blue dress which highlighted her slim frame to perfection.

Nicky's dress featured a waist-enhancing knot detail, while the sleeveless, midi-length dress gave a glimpse of her lean, toned limbs.

The blonde beauty, who is the younger sister of Paris Hilton, paired the look with sky-high black wedges and a matching black clutch bag while she added a touch of bling to the look with a diamond necklace and studs.

She wore her hair in a low-maintenance bun and kept her make-up simple with just a slick of pink lip gloss with a dash of mascara.

The mother-daughter duo headed out to the Southampton Arts Center Second Annual SummerFest, a festival celebrating local food and wine from the area.

Kathy and Nicky rubbed shoulders with a number of the Hamptons business elite as they posed up a storm with a number of local members of society.

Just two days before her night out in the Hamptons, Nicky was spotted in New York City, packing suitcases into the couple's plush Mercedes.

The loved-up duo, who live in Nicky's native NYC, seemed to be getting ready to drive to the Hamptons, a favoured countryside retreat for many New Yorkers.

Despite their combined considerable wealth, the cute couple are not above carrying their own luggage as they piled the huge suitcases into their sporty motor.

Nicky and James, who is descendant of the Rothschild British banking family, worth billions, have enjoyed a whirlwind 2015.

The pair started dating in 2011 after being introduced at Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt's wedding, before James popped the question with a large diamond Asscher cut engagement ring during a holiday to Lake Como, Italy, in April 2014.

Following their extravagant day at Kensington Palace, the couple enjoyed a no-expense-spared trip to the North Island in Seychelles for their honeymoon.

The nuptials marked the second wedding for Nicky, who married childhood friend Todd Andrew Meister in Las Vegas 10 years ago, only for the marriage to be annulled three months later.

Despite getting hitched to her English husband in the UK, Nicky continues to live in the Big Apple.
