The pair share a bitter rivalry, so it's no surprise that when you put Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo in the same building, fireworks are likely to be produced.

The warring pair were at the UFC's 'Go Big' launch in Las Vegas, when they went toe-to-toe and were close to exchanging blows on stage.

They had to be separated by security and president Dana White as the feud threatened to turn nasty before the pair even stepped into the Octagon.

McGregor and Aldo will finally go head-to-head in the match the world has been yearning for in December after the Brazilian was forced to pull-out of their original bout due to a broken rib.

The Irishman didn't let the disappointment of not facing Aldo distract him, as he knocked out American fighter Chad Mendes to claim the interim featherweight title.

The pair are the main event in the second to last show of the year, UFC 194, and if the press call was anything to go by, it's going to be explosive.

Once Aldo left the stage, McGregor was keen to have the final say.

He said: 'What am I supposed to do? He's gone running again. I don't know whether he'll be back. All I know is that I will be there December 12th, like I always am there!

'People are always saying about 'the talk and I talk and I talk and I talk'. But guess f*****g what? I back it up! I back it up!'
