Diane Kruger looks exquisite in a red velvet ribbon gown as she holds hands with beau Joshua Jackson at the Black Mass premiere

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard weren't the only handsome couple to hit the Black Mass premiere at Venice Film Festival on Friday night.

Hot on their heels for best dressed and most doting acting duo were Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, who walked the red carpet hand in hand, exchanging smitten glances at every pace.

Diane, 39, who is a member of this year's Venezia 72 Competition jury, looked divine in red velvet, while her beau kept things classic in a sharp black tuxe.

She may have been there to judge the film quality with her place on the panel, but Diane provided quality fodder for the fashion magazines as she hit the red carpet.

Her exquisite deep burgundy dress featured an elegant bow at the middle, which stretched out behind her in place of a long and traditional train.

Instead, her gown cut off at ankle length in a contemporary fashion to reveal her sweet peep toe gold heels.

Meanwhile, Black Mass actress Dakota Johnson stopped the Venice Film Festival red carpet in its tracks on Friday night as arrived in a sultry flesh-tone gown.

Be a bloody knockout in a sculptural off the shoulder dress by BOSS

You can never mistake Diane Kruger as a demure dresser. She's always been a knock out on the red carpet with her bold fashion choices. This one is no exception.

The actress and fashion icon has a signature look that she has become renowned and beloved for. Glam, Wham, thank you madame. All fashionistas will recognize the over sized obi-like the draping at the waist, the off shoulder neckline and luxe satin fabric, after it's been seen on Diane. It's no surprise she's wearing BOSS by Hugo Boss since she's quite chummy with the head designer, Jason Wu.
