- Juventus were prepared to sell midfielder Paul Pogba to Chelsea for £62m
- France star turned down the chance to join the Premier League champions, according to Italian daily Gazetta dello Sport
- The rejection saw John Obi Mikel's transfer to Besiktas blocked by Blues

Paul Pogba rejected a £62million move to Chelsea despite Juventus agreeing a deal to sell him to the Barclays Premier League champions this summer.
The in-demand midfielder had the opportunity to join fellow France international Anthony Martial in the Premier League, but elected to stay faithful to Juve, according to Gazetta dello Sport.
Pogba met with his agent Mino Raiola but after discussions decided to help with the rebuilding process at Juventus.

The decision also meant John Obi Mikel’s move to Turkish side Besiktas was blocked.
Juventus have already lost the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez and losing Pogba would have been a huge blow for the Italian giants who had also seen off interest from Barcelona.
His fee could ultimately rise above £73million after Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta said: ‘If Pogba continues his performance of last season, I think next year, €100m will not suffice.’
‘We've lost the likes of Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal, three irreplaceable players, against our will and replacing them isn't easy.

'Directors, managers and players come and go, but clubs, victories and their successes to come remain.'
He added: 'It's difficult to do better than last season as that would mean winning the Champions League, but this new Juventus has quality.
'What we do need to work on is instilling the winning mentality into this new group, because we are Juventus and it's our duty to win both in the present day and in the future.'
