American actor Daniel Baldwin has had the dishonour of being the first to be booted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The 54-year-old star was voted out of the reality show on Friday night - to the sound of thunderous boos aimed at his house-mate Farrah Abraham.

Speaking about his unexpected exit, he told show host Emma Willis: 'You’re surprised to see your face when there’s been explosions,' before admitting that he was more focused on being a decent person in the house than starting arguments.

His involuntary departure will not doubt come as a blow for the star's ego as he previously revealed that he didn't want to be evicted before his brother Stephen, who appeared on the show back in 2010, and was the fourth to exit.

Meanwhile, the rest of the evening's episode brought with it a mixture of emotions for the house-mates.

Getting off to a rocky start, Janice once again was at loggerheads with fellow Americans Jenna Jameson and Farrah after breaking task rules as she chewed on food in front of Prince Stevi Ritchie.

‘Hey, Janice, you wanna go relieve yourself in the back?’ the former Teen Mom star asked her before blocking Stevi's view of her and standing in Janice's way. ‘Go eat in the back room and quit being rude,' she reiterated.

But when Farrah refused Janice's request to use a folk as she tucked into a bowl of berries just moments after, the former supermodel made some demands of her own and told the star to 'watch her mouth'.

But it seemed their bitter feud was quickly forgotten when Janice showcased her softer side as she broke down in the bedroom just moments later.

Rushing in to see if she was feeling well, Jenna and Farah attempted to comfort the star who asked them to join her in the camera-free bathroom where she told them that, despite her tough exterior, she's actually very 'sensitive'.

‘I respect and admire the both of you. I don’t want to upset people but I can’t be Janice around here at all because I’ve caused so much havoc in the house that GB is really annoyed at me,' she gushed through her tears.

'I just don’t think people understand that none of my intentions have ever meant to be cruel,' she explains.

But the peace was quickly interrupted when team USA were given the task of upsetting four of their UK counterparts - a task loud-mouthed Farrah breezed through as she managed to leave Gail Porter, Natasha Hamilton and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello in tears.

Usually the peacemaker, Gail later reflected on the argument with James Hill and didn't hold back when it came to criticising Farrah.

'If I was in the outside world I would so pull her hair. I would whip her ass.,' she told the former Apprentice star.

'It’s a game. She doesn’t give a shit about anybody but herself.' she added, before James interjected, 'She’s going to be a lonely, lonely person'

Gail then retorted: 'As long as she’s got a mirror she’ll be okay.'

When the truth about the task is unveiled later in the day and Farrah apologises for her behaviour, the 44-year-old TV presenter still appeared reluctant to accept her apology, telling the adult entertainment star: ‘I totally get it but I think there are ways of not saying bad words.'

But Gail's brutal tongue didn't rest there as she later argued with Chloe-Jasmine in the garden over her intimacy with fiance Stevi.

Just moments after giving a tearful response to the news that she and her man, along with Farrah, Janice, Jenna, Daniel and Chris, were up for eviction, Gail decided to give the X Factor star a few home truths in the garden.

‘Don’t mount each other while you’re in the bed next to me,' the Scottish star warned her, referring to a number of steamy exchanges the pair have endured in the bedroom.

The episode also saw Paul Burrell, a former servant of the British Royal Household, leave the show after spending the past three days leading team USA to victory in their royal task.

Summing up his time in the house, the 57-year-old said: 'It’s been like staying on a high security ward.'

Paul also hinted that things could potentially heat up between James and Farrah as he claimed that the two could have feelings for one another.

'She likes James. James likes her. I just wonder if they’re going to get together,' he dished.

'I saw it first hand - she couldn’t take her eyes off of him.'
