Catalan culture challenge 2nd edition. March 16- April 15, 2015
Welcome to the Wikipedia writing contest around Catalan culture!
What: This is a public writing competition around Catalan culture. The goal of this second edition is to improve and translate this list of 14 notable people into as many languages as possible. Winners will get great Prizes and Barnstars.
When: The writing challenge was running from 00:01 16 March until 23:59 15 April 2015 (CETUTC+01:00).
How: The contest is simple in structure, based on a KISS point system: You get points while improving articles, with the goal for each participant to gain as many points as possible.
Who: Everybody can help in any language to collaborate on writing and/or translating articles related to Catalan culture. Any Wikipedian with a named account (on any wiki) can participate. To participate you just need to sign up on the Participants section.
Why: The contest is organized and led by Amical Wikimedia: Our primary mission and goal is for the sum of all human knowledge to be available in Catalan and for all knowledge about Catalan culture to also be available in every language. This project is just one of our first international steps.
