How do I change my email address?

If you change your email address and want to associate your new one with your This is Money account, you need to update the details yourself. Login with your old address, wait a few seconds for the Login link (top right of the screen) to change to My profile | Logout. Then click on My profile and enter your new address and follow the instructions.

Why am I receiving This is Money emails that come from dailymail@info.dailymail.co.uk?

That's the address our newsletters are now sent from. Don't worry, it's not spam or a phishing scam.

Why haven’t I received my activation email?

Occasionally, our email server can take longer than normal to send out the email so you may just need to wait a little longer you expect. If that's not the case, please check your spam folder and ensure password@and.co.uk is added to your senders list and reset the password again. This is usually found in options. And of course, make sure you are entering the correct email address - that's a common cause of problems with this service.

I’ve forgotten my password – where’s the password reminder?

For security reasons we no longer offer a password reminder facility - you need to reset and choose a new one. Click on the Login link in the top right of the screen, then click on Forgotten password. This takes you to a screen to reset your password. Fill in the details and follow the instructions in the email you'll receive.

Is your registration secure? There’s not an HTTPS  in the URL of the login form to indicate it is secure.

Yes, of course it's secure. The sign up process is secure, we use HTTPS for the actual submission of the login data, just not the form itself. This is because of the way our site is distributed via a third-party company we can’t publish the login form as HTTPS without incurring eye-watering bills.

Why can’t I access certain features or pages won't load when I login?

It sounds like your computer may have stored an old version of the page and/or the login link. Try refreshing the page – hit Ctrl + F5 several times on the keyboard to call in a fresh version - then try logging in again.  If that doesn’t work, you ought to clear out your temporary internet files and cookies as it may be that something out of date has been remembered. You’ll find the option usually in Tools > Internet options > from the menu bar in your browser. You can find details of how to delete cookies here: http://www.aboutcookies.org/

How do I get my profile removed from the site?

Please email editor@thisismoney.co.uk and we’ll make sure it’s deleted as soon as possible. We’ll confirm by email.
