'My infant is going to run for president!' Zooey Deschanel tweets about her baby for the first time...but keeps her name secret

Her baby girl was born in July.

But new parents Zooey Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik have been keeping lots of details about their tot under wraps.

On Friday the New Girl star talked about her for the first time in a Twitter blast with a comic take, of course, on her child's immediate future.

'My infant daughter is going to run for president,' the 35-year-old declared to her 6.7 million followers.

'She remains silent [on] all of the key issues but she’s much cuter than Donald Trump,' she added, giving a shout out to the Republican Party's presidential front-runner who is better known as the former Celebrity Apprentice host. 

The actress started dating the Skeleton Twins producer in mid-2014, and in January she announced that they were expecting a baby.

A week later, she revealed that she was engaged, and said her beau had popped the question on January 17, her birthday.

Zooey confirmed through her rep in early August that she had tied the knot with Jacob on June 21 in a secret ceremony in Texas and given birth to their first child together.

Apparently the happy couple didn't know the sex of their child until she was born. 

'We are going to be surprised,' she told Jimmy Kimmel on his show in March. 'It's more fun, you know? Make it into a game.'

She also lamented the restricted diet pregnancy enforces, saying: 'You can't have sushi. You can't have cheese that tastes good. You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day. And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It's a total joke!'

Zooey and Jacob have been seen out twice with their daughter since her birth.

In early August, Jacob carried the baby in her car cot as they went out for lunch in Hillside Farmacy in Austin, Texas. And he toted his little girl again in late August when the couple went out for dinner in Austin. 

Meanwhile, the pair are currently working on comedy Rock The Kasbah with Jacob producing and Zooey co-starring with Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Kate Hudson. The movie is due out October 23.
