She is the the oldest and some would say wisest woman in the Kardashian and Jenner clan.

And paying homage to Mary Jo Shannon on Saturday, Kylie Jenner posted a cute photo of her grandmother giving her a hug.

The now blonde reality star captioned the shot: 'I love you my grandma.'

Kylie Jenner may now be officially an adult, having turned 18 last week, but it looks like she’s only just getting into the rebellious teenager grungy stage.

Swapping her usual glam mini dress-and- stilettos combos for something a lot more casual, Kylie Jenner teamed black leggings with a black tee along with some unique looking adidas Originals.

The octogenarian, who resides in La Jolla, near San Diego, was wearing a pair of smart white trousers and a plaid shirt.

She had a bucket hat on her head and beamed as she placed her face against her grandaughter's visage.

Kylie meanwhile was in contrasting black.

Back in July Mary Jo, who is Kris Jenner's mother, celebrated her birthday, and the family were on hand to take part.

Kim shared a photo of herself and North with mom Kris and her grandma and wrote: 'I love having my grandma here to celebrate these moments! My daughter is so lucky to have her great grand mother here!!! #Family.'

The 34-year-old also posted a flashback photo on her Instagram account of her grandma giving her a bath her when she was a toddler.

Baby Kim, with wet curls, is seen giggling as she holds tightly onto her grandma's hand during bathtime.

Many of Kim's followers commented on how much she looks like North when she was about the same age.

'Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!! I have so many memories with you & papa growing up! You've been such a good example for us & I'm so lucky to have you in my life!' Kim wrote alongside the vintage snap.

Someone to lean on: Khloe Kardashian, 31, posted this photo of herself with her grandma and described the octogenarian as 'a legend'

Khloe Kardashian, 31, also wished her Mary Jo a happy birthday with a recent black and white photo of them walking through a crowd of paparazzi and fans.

Grandma could be seen in a black turtle neck and pants with a white blazer and matching panama hat holding a cane.

Khloe is walking beside her in a similar hat and dressed all in white.

Alongside the throwback picture, Khloe wrote: 'MJ x KoKo. She's a legend in my eyes!'
