The victims were struck by the race car when its driver - reported to be local man Sergio Tabeayo - lost control during the La Coruña Rally, in the Spanish municipality of Carral in the north west of the country. Footage of the crash (pictured, left) shows the moment the car skids across the dirt track before ploughing into a group of roughly 20 spectators (centre), sending them flying into the air. Two pregnant women and an eight-year-old child have both been confirmed to be among the six people killed. Sixteen people were injured, six seriously. The race was immediately suspended in the aftermath, with police warning that the death toll is likely to rise. Emergency services remain on the scene tonight (right), supporting the victims and their families.
Britain wants to quit Europe: Shock new poll shows EU 'no' camp ahead for the first time as Cameron prepares to face down Tory rebels
A majority of British people would vote to leave the European Union in the wake of the migrant crisis engulfing the continent, a shock new Mail on Sunday poll has found. If a referendum were to be held tomorrow on whether to remain a member of the EU, 51 per cent of British people would vote 'No'. Growing public support to cut all ties with Brussels came as it was revealed the Prime Minister told Merkel to her face: 'I could walk away from the EU.'

Homeopathy student's £20,000 London houseboat sank while she was away at music festival - because it RAINED too much
Genevieve Dunne's barge (pictured, middle) was moored off Regent's Canal in London when a heavy downpour flooded it last month. The 30-year-old (left), who has lived on the boat for two years, lost all of her possessions apart from a small handful of clothes due to water damage (right, top and bottom). The houseboat has since been pumped and refloated but Ms Dunne now faces a crippling repair bill. Close friends are hoping a GoFundMe page set up on her behalf will help her get back on her feet - with more than £6,000 already raised.
Millions of pounds worth of paintings stolen from the country mansion of cider heir found by 'The Scream' sleuth
Five masked men stole 15 paintings from the home of Former Tory MP Esmond Bulmer and his wife, Susie (pictured together), in Bruton, Somerset, in March 2009. Two of the pieces are regarded as important works. Endymion by George Frederick Watts, inset left, is said to be worth £1 million. The other, Apple Blossom, inset right, is regarded as among British artist Sir George Clausen's finest works. The paintings have now been returned after private investigators succeeded where the police had failed. One sleuth involved in the operation is the man who recovered The Scream after it was stolen from an Oslo gallery in 1994.

Welcome to Smuglins! Too posh for Center Parcs? Try the uber-chic log cabins hired out by celebs at £330 a night
Welcome to Soho Farmhouse, the boho Butlin's that proves the old saying that when world-weary luvvies tire of London, they simply lift it up, transport it 90 minutes down the motorway. The Prime Minister has already been seen at one of its star-studded barn dances - after all, the 100-acre site near the village of Great Tew is a stone's throw from the grand country retreats of his Chipping Norton set. This former working farm, complete with 40 log cabins (pictured) with rustic metal bathtubs (bottom left), Le Creuset cookware and larders stocked with artisan food, is an offshoot of Soho House, the exclusive London private members' club for media types. Famous names including Princess Eugenie and Cressida Bonas (top left), Professor Green (second from left) and Jemima Khan (second from right, right) have all already been, while the likes of George and Amal Clooney have been invited to stay, too.
They've lost Daddy. I can't bear for them to lose me too: The cancer-stricken mother whose husband died last week vows to fight on for her children
EXCLUSIVE: Paul Coulston, Clare's husband of 15 years, and father to Finlay and Evelyn, pictured together left, died suddenly aged 40 from the effects of Motor Neurone Disease. But more poignant still is the prospect that one day soon the children may lose Clare too. She faces a death sentence after being diagnosed in 2009 with cancer. Now that Paul has gone, Clare's thoughts have turned to her own future, which remains perilously uncertain, and that of her family. But even though her cancer could return at any time, Clare, 39, from Ulverston, Cumbria, is determined to stay positive and strong for the children (together right).

One IS amused! Queen wraps up warm at Highland games as she shares a joke with Charles and Philip while admiring the action
Draped in a checked blanket, the Queen looked in good spirits as she cheered on competitors at the Braemar Gathering - the biggest event in Scotland's Highland Games calendar. The 89-year-old monarch was pictured laughing and pointing as she took in the action alongside the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles (pictured left). They were joined in the royal pavilion by Peter Phillips and his wife, Autumn. As patron of the Games, which are held just a short distance from the Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire, the Queen joined thousands of spectators to cheer on participants in the tossing of the caber and tug of war contests.
