In an upcoming interview with Ellen DeGeneres, transgender reality star Caitlyn Jenner candidly confessed she hopes to find love again.

But on Friday night, the 65-year-old former Olympian was more than happy to have dinner with her friend Buzz Bissinger.

Leaving upmarket Italian restaurant Mangia in Malibu, the 6ft 2in star was spotted towering over the leather-clad writer as they made their way out of the eatery.

Caitlyn - formerly known as Bruce Jenner - cut a relatively simple, yet, perfectly stylish figure in cropped denim jeans and a white knitted jumper.

She accessorised her low-key getup with a tanned leather handbag, while adding a few extra inches to her statuesque frame with platform wedges.

Her make-up was immaculately minimal, highlighting her features with lashings of mascara and a few swipes of black eyeliner, which complemented her skin tone.

'Everybody wants to have a partner, everybody would love to have a family and for trans people sometimes that can be extraordinarily difficult to do,' the I Am Cait star explained, although she joked that she already has 'too many children' so is in a different point in her life.

‘I’ve kind of passed that stage in my life, but yes would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with. I’m sure I will at some point,' she continued.

'Right now I’m just very busy doing a lot of things and kind of just getting used to where I’m at and who I’m at. As time goes on I’ll deal with that subject.'

'I’ve only been with women,' Caitlyn was seen clarifying, before quickly declaring: 'I have bigger things than an orgasm to worry about. I have bigger things to worry about than an orgasm.
