'I want a PARTNER': Caitlyn Jenner reveals she hopes to find love again but plays it coy on whether she's interested in men or women while visiting Ellen

Caitlyn Jenner has admitted she hopes to find love again one day.

The transgender reality star, 65, opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her thoughts on dating - but skirted the issue of whether she wants to romance men or women - when stopping by the talk show for an episode that will be broadcast on September 8.

And the I Am Cait star also revealed she doesn't miss being Bruce and still plays on a men's golf course while touching on the subject of gay marriage.

Jenner looked chic in a white long-sleeved blouse and slim black skirt, paired with flirty black-and-white bow tied heels as she sat down for her first TV interview since revealing her new identity as Caitlyn.

Ellen also quizzed the E! star on whether she is interested in dating men or women.

Jenner recently admitted on an episode of I Am Cait that she likes the idea of being taken care of by a man, after previously insisting she was not attracted to men.

Speaking to Ellen, Jenner dodged the question about whether she is interested in men or women, but admitted she hopes to find a loving relationship in the future.

'Everybody wants to have a partner, everybody would love to have a family and for trans people sometimes that can be extraordinarily difficult to do,' Caitlyn said, although she joked that she already has 'too many children' so is in a different point in her life.

''I’ve kind of passed that stage in my life, but yes would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with. I’m sure I will at some point,' she told Ellen.

'Right now I’m just very busy doing a lot of things and kind of just getting used to where I’m at and who I’m at. As time goes on I’ll deal with that subject.'

Warm welcome:  Jenner admitted that she had been opposed to gay marriage for a long time, but had come around to the idea and didn't want to 'stand in the way of anyone's happiness'

And when Ellen asked if she missed being Bruce, the former Olympian was quick to dismiss the idea.

'Do I miss him? Absolutely, no,' she said. 'Because as a woman I can do all this fun stuff anyway. I can still play golf. I can still go race cars.'

The avid golfer admitted that she still plays on the men's golf course, as well as continues to ride her motorcylce and fly planes.

But she played it coy on her relationship with close friend and transgender actress Candice Cayne, who also appears on I Am Cait.

'Actually Candice is back stage, but that’s a whole other deal. Candice is great. We really have a lot a fun. She’s a beautiful woman,' said Jenner.

Ellen, who is married to Scandal actress Portia DeRossi, also pressed Caitlyn on her conservative beliefs, putting her on the spot over her past stance against gay marriage.

The reality star has come under fire from the trans community for being a Republican, which many see as being against their cause. She also also been criticized for being out-of-touch because of her fame, race and wealth.

The former athlete admitted to she was opposed gay marriage for a long time, but says her view shifted as gay marriage went mainstream and became 'the law of the land.'

'As time goes on like a lot of people on this issue I’ve really changed thinking here to I don’t ever want to stand in front of anybody’s happiness. That’s not my job,' she told Ellen.

'If that word marriage is really, really that important to you I can go with it.'

Caitlyn also talked about her cross-dressing past while living as Bruce.

Shes used to wear a bra and women's panties under her men's suits when giving motivational speeches, and would dress up as a woman while staying in hotels on business trips. However, she says she was never recognized.

'I was very stealthy. I was good at this stuff. I would literally go back to the hotel room, cross dress walk out around the hotel and they never knew.'

'So you can be a little more stealthy that way because they would never in a billion years think that so I never got caught. Never had a problem.'

Caitlyn and Ellen also presented a check for $20,000 to transgender student Blossom Brown, who has had trouble getting into nursing school because of her gender identity.
