Fresh-faced Rooney Mara shows off her slim pins in all-black ensemble as she is awarded at the Telluride Film Festival

She's known for her gothic chic sense of style.

Instead of mixing things up, Rooney Mara stuck with her signature look on Friday, as she attended the 2015 Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

The 30-year-old actress highlighted her thin pins in a pair of black skinnies which she teamed with a loose-fitted black blouse and grey pointed-toe boots.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star layered on a boxy black jacket and accessorised with a long silver medallion necklace - which she was awarded.

The New York native's brunette locks were styled half-up, as she sported minimal make-up.

Later, the younger sister of actress Kate Mara was seen taking the mic on stage.

Deadline reports that the Telluride Film Festival put a spotlight on Rooney Mara, who stars in Carol alongside Cate Blanchett. She was awarded a silver medallion.

Carol made its North American debut at the festival and releases to theatres on November 20.

In May, Rooney won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her portrayal of Therese Belivet in Carol.

Also spotted on Friday at the Telluride Film Festival was Brie Larson, 25, and Elisabeth Shue, 51.

Brie donned a black leather biker jacket over a green blouse and teamed those pieces with skinny jeans and black boots.

The actress, who is promoting her latest project Room, also opted for a fresh-faced look. 

Elisabeth bundled up in a black blouse, brown leather jacket, flared dark denim trousers, and black boots.

She had a checked red and black scarf wrapped around her neck. as her eyes were concealed with plastic specs.
