24th World Scout Jamboree

For the first time, a world jamboree will be hosted by three national Scout organizations: Scouts Canada, Asociación de Scouts de México, and the Boy Scouts of America. These three distinct cultures will join together to host the world Scouting community in a celebration of cultural exchange, mutual understanding, peace, and friendship.
The 2019 World Scout Jamboree will be held July 22 through August 2, 2019, at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, USA. Unlike any other youth event, a world Scout jamboree invites you to surround yourself in the cultures of the world by joining your new Scouting friends at a single destination for 12 unforgettable days. The jamboree experience extends beyond your home—and beyond the boundaries of our host countries—to create a global adventure that will last a lifetime.

I can not wait to back as staff for this, I have not been to a world jamboree but I went to the national one in 2013 at summit and am very excited to and at least help with world jamboree as staff
This is going to be great. Unfortunately, I have a number of Scouts in my Den that will heartbroken when they learn they might be too young (by a few weeks) to attend, especially if the jamboree is in July.

The location of the 24th World Scout Jamboree is actually at The Summit Bechtel Reserve, also known as "The Summit", located near Glen Jean, West Virginia, U.S.A. The New River Gorge on the New River is located several miles/kilometers away from "The Summit" and is the location for high adventure white water rafting.

When the time is close a fee will be assigned and you pay it and travel to the US. Here we will receive you in the airport through your group/delegation coordination with the help of volunteers in our International committee at the National Capital Area Council.
