Foxy at 51! Keanu Reeves shows off youthful appearance in dapper grey suit as he attends the Deauville American Film Festival in France

He celebrated his 51st birthday only two days ago.

But aside from the streak of silver in his beard, Keanu Reeves looked far from his numerical age when he attended a photocall at the 41st Deauville American Film Festival in France on Friday.

The birthday boy looked sharp in a grey suede suit and black tie as he worked his magic on the throng of fans waiting nearby.

While his raven black locks were slicked back into a handsome hairdo, the actor detracted from his crisp wardrobe with a pair of worn shoes. 

Keanu did not fail to live up to the expectations of the crowd, who enthusiastically waited the star beside the promenade. 

The Speed star made pleasant conversation with the fans, many of whom were armed with cameras and photographs for him to sign.

Keanu was among a host of stars that were recognised as Tributes at the film festival.

The actor, whose ceremony was scheduled on Friday, was in good company as Orlando Bloom, Michael Bay, Ian McKellen, Patricia Clarkson, Terrence Malick, the late Orson Welles, and Lawrence Bender were all named Tributes as well. 

Meanwhile, Keanu has been the subject of 'rumours' for sometime about how he remains looking so young despite his age.

He has been jokingly branded a vampire and the subject of many hilarious memes regarding his boyish visage.

The actor also seems to find the comparisons funny and suggestions she could be immortal.

In an Ask Me Anything chat with Reddit last year when someone asked him if he really was going to live forever he responded: 'No, but energy cannot be created or destroyed so they say.'

The actor will next be seen in Knock Knock, an Eli Roth movie where he plays a married man who is seduced by two young women.

Scheduled for release on October 9 in the US, the film takes a turn for the worse when his actions result in terrifying consequences at the hands of his seducers. 

In 2016 he is set to be seen in horror flick The Neon Demon with Elle Fanning.
