'My boobs popped out!' Strictly professional Ola Jordan cringes after awkward costume malfunction on launch night

She never thought she'd seen the day that she'd return to Strictly Come Dancing because of a horrific ski injury that damaged her knee.

But Ola Jordan was slightly regretting coming back on Saturday night as she took to Twitter after launch night to say she ripped her skirt, broke her nail and saw her boobs pop out on live TV.

Paired with Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas on the night, the blonde sarcastically pre-empted a 'great series' as she listed the pitfalls of the first night back.

She said: 'Ha ha! @Iwanrunner Brilliant! In this 1 second he ripped my skirt, broke my nail and my boobs popped out!! This is going to be a great series.'

Ola and Iwan first learned that they would take on the 2015 series as a pair on Saturday night's show when the couples were revealed.

It had previously been claimed that Ola was disappointed not to have been paired with early favourite Peter Andre, though the BBC maintained that the weekend show was live.

Similarly, he had earmarked the feisty little blonde to be his other half on the dance floor, saying before the series begun that they had met and discussed it in the past.

He revealed: 'I've met her many times in the past and we always joked for years, it's been going on for years, where I said 'I'll only ever do Strictly if you're my partner.'

'Because she kept saying, "When are you gonna come on the show, when are you gonna do it?'"

Peter kicked Saturday's show off to a great start, proving that his pairing with Janette Manrara would make them a force to be reckoned with.

The Mysterious Girl singer recently expressed his nerves at being the bookies odds-on favourite to win but he looked to have rid himself of his inhibitions as he showcased his moves confidently.

Peter's moves only excelled as the show progressed as he seemingly outshone his competitors during a group dance routine to Jess Glynne's Hold My Hand.

While his male counterparts looked a little uneasy at the thought of shaking their hips, the 42-year-old star didn't hold back and danced as if nobody was watching.

It was recently revealed that Peter boasts odds of 7/2 for winning this year's series, and while the news has undoubtedly brought a smile to his face, he also admitted finding it a little unnerving.

'That’s the worst pressure,' he told Radio Times earlier this week. 'It’s so nice [but the odds will] all change as soon as we start dancing. People will watch and they’ll go, 'that person’s good, that person’s alright.' And even if you’re good at one style of dancing…'
