Still sweethearts! Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness look loved up as they attend the Red Ball together as the actor opens up about the joys of fatherhood

They recently hosted fundraisers in both Sydney and Melbourne for 59-year-old Deborra-Lee Furness' organisation Adopt Change.

And once again stepping out for a good cause - and one close to their hearts - was Hugh Jackman, 46, and his wife, who attended this year's Fight Cancer Foundation's Red Ball on Saturday.

The pair, who are patrons for the foundation with Deborra-Lee's mother reportedly helping to found it, joined a star-studded crowd at the event held at Melbourne's Grand Hyatt.

The couple, who have been married for 19 years, were grinning from ear to ear as they walked the red carpet together.

According to The Herald Sun, Saturday marked exactly 20 years to the day since Hugh asked Deborra-Lee to marry him in Melbourne.

Deborra-Lee stepped out in her usual all black ensemble, wearing a tight and floor length dress which featured a wrap front.

Hugh meanwhile, wore a white shirt with a black suit and bow tie.

In an elegant touch, she added a soft pink lipstick to her look. She appeared to have her light blonde locks styled half up and half down.

They were joined on the evening by the likes of Eric Bana and Kerri-Anne Kennerley.

Kerri-Anne stunned in a bright red figure-hugging dress and showed off her golden tan.

Hugh, who has been busy of late promoting his upcoming film Pan, and getting underway with his arena show Broadway To Oz, recently opened up to Sunday Style about his family, including the couple's adopted children Oscar, 15, and Ava, 9.

Last month, Hugh announced he was bring to Australia his show Broadway To Oz.

'In November and December this year, 2015, myself and 150 musicians, singers, dancers choir, are going to be touring the major cities of Australia in an arena spectacular and I am beyond excited about it,' Hugh told reporters at a press conference.
