GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Nice ring Lily...now where's husband Sam Cooper?

Another weekend, another mixed message from Lily Allen about the state of her marriage.

After Lily, 30, made a big show of taking off her wedding ring by tweeting a picture of her bare left hand with the hashtag #sadface, she put it back on in time for the Notting Hill Carnival last weekend.

Husband Sam Cooper and their two children did put in a brief appearance with her, but Lily spent Sunday night at her DJ ex-boyfriend Seb Chew's party.

Then, on Monday, I spotted Lily partying alone at Shy FX's Party On The Moon – where she was snapped, right, holding a rather unusual-looking cigarette.

Seb played at the party and I heard her telling everyone how 'amazing' he is…Come on Lily, what's going on?

Meanwhile, a Lily lookalike was the centre of attention at another Carnival party last weekend.

Stylist Anna Trevelyan, is Lily's spitting image and when she arrived at the do, even Lily's friends assumed Anna was her and chatted away to her as if she was.

Anna says: 'It happens all the time, my friends tease me about it.' Lily's reaction? 'Is she cooler than me? I don't think I want to meet her if she is, that's weird!'

Legendary chef Raymond Blanc has stepped down as director at the world famous Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons restaurant.

But don't panic – he's still going to be a driving force at the Michelin-starred Oxfordshire establishment.

Raymond, 65, tells me: 'I'll continue at the helm for many years to come.' My spies reveal the change is part of a plan to give him more time for TV projects.

Kevin Pietersen doesn't eat any old sweets – he only likes blue M&Ms... with his initials printed on them.

The cricketer had the KP chocs made up for his charity foundation's fundraising day last week at Wentworth golf club and put them in his guests' goody bags. I'm told some of his older patrons mixed up the blue sweets with something else entirely…
