Jill and Derick Duggar return to US from missionary work in El Salvador with baby Israel to spend time with family before cousin Amy's nuptials...but no sign of Josh

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are back in the U.S. for a short visit and have been catching up with their extended families.

The couple have returned from Central America where they're serving as missionaries and will be among the invited guests for cousin Amy Duggar's wedding Sunday in Northwest Arkansas.

In the run-up to Amy's nuptials, Jill and Derick, along with their five-month-old son Israel, have been visiting with Derick's family.

On Saturday, the 26-year-old shared a photo on his Instagram account showing himself, Jill, 24, and Israel dining out with his mom Cathy and his brother Daniel.

Alongside the photo, he wrote: 'My mom took us to see "War Room" last night! Thank you for praying for her health; she's doing great!'

In 2014, Cathy was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma but appeared smiling and looking healthy in Derick's snap.

However there was no sign of scandal plagued Josh in the photo.

Sister Jana Duggar, 25, was shown in photos shared on the family's Facebook page sitting at a piano holding Israel on her lap as he joined in by pounding on the keys.

The Duggar parents wrote: 'So nice to have our sweet Dillards home for a visit. As you can see Israel has decided he loves Aunt Jana! He even got his first piano lesson!!!'

Amy, 28, is set to tie the knot with Dillon King and many members of the 19 Kids And Counting family are expected to attend with one noticeable exception: scandal-plagued Josh Duggar.

'Everything with Josh was like a death in the family,' a source told Entertainment Tonight on Saturday. 'They're hoping Amy's wedding day can be an escape - a much-needed day of happiness.'

The eldest Duggar son has not been seen or heard from publicly since he confessed to being the 'biggest hypocrite' by cheating on his wife Anna, the mother of his four young children, viewing online porn and signing up for accounts on the Ashley Madison website.

At least two women have come forward to claim they had unprotected sex with Josh, including porn star Danica Dillon.

And the Duggars are bracing for more possible revelations, with the source telling ET: 'It’s all so sad, and at this point, who knows what else will come to light.'

His parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced 10 days ago he'd entered a long-term treatment program and he's believed to have entered the Reformers Unanimous program in Rockford, Illinois.

According to ET, Amy is hoping to be able to welcome Anna to the ceremony and celebration.

'She really wants this to be about love and the future,' the source told the TV show.

'No one is quite sure how Anna will be or how long she'll stay, but this day is about support and positivity.'

It's also the day when she'll no longer have Duggar as her last name, something she seems eager for.

Her Instagram profile reads: 'I won't be Duggar much longer! Just a normal girl with a not so normal life!'
