Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, 39, went through his pregame stretches with his four-year-old son Marshall right next to him before the NFL star's team faced off against the Arizona Cardinals at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Thursday night in Colorado.

Marshall fit in like just one of the guys while he stretched with his dad and the rest of the Denver starters and a handful of key reserves, 27 players in all.

Although Manning did not play in the final preseason game, the Mannings were the stars of the show before the team's eventual 22-20 loss to Arizona.

NFL football is truly a family affairs for Manning so it's no surprise that he has gotten Marshall involved early.

The future Hall of Famer is joined in the NFL by his brother, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

Their father, NFL great Archie Manning, played in the league for many years and is still a presence in professional football circles.

Manning was asked about fatherhood during an interview with the Rich Eisen Show, according to the Broncos website.

He said: 'I certainly enjoy being a father.

'I enjoy having my kids around at training camp practices.

'Coach Kubiak's real good about letting guys bring their kids around and so I've certainly enjoyed that part of it.

'I got to be an NFL player's son for eight years and most of my memories are not necessarily from a game but maybe being at a training camp practice or being in a locker room.

'I'm not really sure what my kids will remember once they get older, but I certainly enjoy having them around.

'It definitely changes your priorities and changes your perspective on things.'
