- Banderas and Griffiths purchased the 8,121 sq ft mountain retreat back in 2002

- There is a hot tub and fire pit on a wrap around brick terrace, and a private deck for one of the master bedrooms

- Banderas and Griffiths divorce was finalized last month, officially ending nearly 20 years of marriage
Barely two months after former sweethearts Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffiths put their $8.9m Aspen home on the market, it seems they've had a change of heart.
Banderas and Griffiths, whose divorce after 19 years of marriage was finalized in July, are now renting the 8,121 sq ft mountain retreat in Colorado for $65,000 a month, according to ABC.
The selling price for the estate was originally listed at $9.9million.
It was not the first shared property the former couple tried to unload. In June they sold their Los Angeles Hancock Park mansion to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos for a record-breaking $15.9.

But that doesn't mean the property, which is actually made up of two lots Banderas and Griffiths purchased at different times and then combined, is without its features.

Meanwhile, the one bedroom one bathroom guesthouse features a kitchen as big as the main house and walls covered with built-in book shelves.
Just nearby is a historic log cabin cottage, which has its own small deck and a wood-burning stove.
The former couple first bought a two-acre 12-room residence on the property for $3.55m in 2002, before combining it with the neighboring 10.3 acres that included the guesthouse and log cabin for $1.5m.
The chance to buy isn't completely gone. The estate is still listed for sale by Bowden Properties.
